    This sea lion has boldly come up onto rocks very close to La Jolla Cove, La Jolla's most popular and usually crowded swimming beach which is tucked in just to the left. Sea lions usually frequent more isolated rocks to the right and north of what can be seen in this panorama. A short distance south of this scene is the world famous Casa Beach harbor seal colony.
