This is an enhanced version of "View from the Herzogstand mountain in Bavaria". I have applied a dehazing software, to reduce atmospheric scattering. With this enhancement the contrast is significantly improved near the horizon. In Munich various buildings can be identified, such as the soccer stadium, the olympic tow...

Enhanced version of the Kampenwand panorama. I have improved the workflow with haze removal (Neutralhazer). The panorama shows lake Chiemsee, Rosenheim and Munich (in the northwest, i.e. left from the center near the horizon). In the north the view goes as far as Landhut, towards the east as far as Salzburg (and bey...

Winter landscape in Upper Franconia (Bavaria/Germany). Experimenental panorama for which I used my Lumix FZ200 at f=600 mm (35 mm eqiv.) and F8.0. Recently I had problems with vignetting, however, it seems that I just have to use a small aperture to reduce vignetting effects. Dark vertical banding - as visible in pre...

View of the town of Germering (west of Munich). The seeing is pretty good this sunday afternoon: individual trees can be seen in the mountains (which are at least 60 kms away). Test of my accelerated panorama platform: ca. 1.5 seconds/image Total number of images: ca. 750

View from the Rabenkopf mountain. The 1430 photos were stitched with PTGui in ca. 2.5 hours. Using a SSD (256 GByte) speeds up the stitching process incredibly!!! Well, the overlap between images was a little bit small. This is causing noticable vignetting. I didn't use vignetting correction of PTGUI as this doesn...

View of lake Chiemsee from the Kampenwand mountain in the bavarian alps. Camera: Lumix FZ200 at a focal length of 600 mm (24x zoom) Due to strong winds the camera was shaking on the tripod, so the images are not as clear as they could be... Imaging took less than 45 minutes (ca. 2.7 sec/image).The 900 single im...
