The Capitol Records tower on Vine St in Hollywood just north of Hollywood Blvd. The building was constructed to look like a stack of 45rpm records on a changer; atop the spire is an blinking red aircraft warning beacon, the light spells out HOLLYWOOD in Morse Code.

The mountain at the left terminates at the Pacific Ocean and is called Palos Verdes Pont (or Long Point). Santa Catalina Island sits approximately 26 miles off the coast and is one of the Channel Islands.
Directly behind Palos Verdes Point you can see the island's lowest point (the island goes a considerable ways South from this point). This point is called the Isthmus and you can literally walk from one side of the island to the other is a couple of minutes.0 comments
