I took this one reasonably early in the morning hoping to catch the reflection however I hadn't appreciated the problem with the dynamic range between the light sky/mountains and the shadows and mist on the water. I also screwed up a the focus a bit as I think you will be able to see on a couple of images. Patricia L...

This is taken inside Jasper National Park about half way between the towns of Hinton and Jasper. Due to the time of the year and things freezing up the river is quite low as can be seen by the mud flats.

This pano was taken from 2170 meters elevation looking down on Maligne Lake (1670 meters) in Jasper National Park. The view is from just at the treeline. The hike up to the lookout from the lake is a bit over 5 kilometers (about 3.5 miles) and had about 8" of snow by the time I reached the top - would have been easi...

This 360 degree pano was taken from a hill known as Old Fort Point just outside of Jasper, Alberta in Jasper National Park. The hill is only a few hundred feet high as you can see looking down at the Athabasca River but holds a commanding view of the townsite, the valley and the surrounding peaks.

Located near the eastern end of Lake Superior between Wawa and Sault Saint Marie. Agawa Bay id the site of some very famous native pictographs on some of the shear rocks along the shore. These are currently protected by a provincial park located within the panorama.

This is another panorama of qimet canyon (see my other one). In this case I set up to do an HDR which I processed with basic tone mapping in photomatrix.

Actually located about half way between Thunder Bay and Nipigon, Ontario, Canada (48' 47''N 88' 40'' W). This canyon was apparently formed by glacial activites and underground water flows eating away the rock. The whole thing runs down toward Lake Superior. I'd guess the shear walls are about 150' high and as you c...
