Skeleton-Looking arrangement. by impreprex from the GigaPan MSL - Sols 172, 173, 184, and 186 - MastCam 100 mm. by impreprex

Hey - I said it LOOKS like a skeleton.
So... I see a humanoid skull with what appears to be wingbones - both pointing towards the right.
I do think, however, that the "wingbones" are simply the countours of the rocks because you can see more of that in the area, but regardless - it does look like a humanoid flying-creature's bones - from the sternum and up...
Again - not procaiming. I'm just saying what it resembles...

Stitching error? by impreprex from the GigaPan MSL - Sols 186 and 188 - MastCam 100 by impreprex

    I'm even confused...
I'm going with stitching error. The one lower resolution image in this mosic is somewhere else.
    This stinks when you're a perfectionist. :D

NavCam Left by impreprex from the GigaPan MSL - Super GigaPan - Yellowknife Bay (Both MastCams) with rover self portrait by impreprex

There are two Navcams at identical resolutions but slightly offset in position (like the human eye) so 3d stereoscopic images may be taken. The MastCams can take stereo images as well.

Drilling targets and brush by impreprex from the GigaPan MSL - Super GigaPan - Yellowknife Bay (Both MastCams) with rover self portrait by impreprex

The two indentations on the left (top and bottom) are from the first drill activities where the drill-bit tapped the rock (in percussive mode) a bunch of times. The gray part on the right-side is where they apparently used the wire brush to clean off the rock.

Here's that spot you wanted to see, taken with the other camera. It's there. :) Just not with the other MastCam camera. That's why I made this GigaPan a "double". It shows the same area with part of it zoomed in so if you don't like one part in the zoomed in version/camera, just check out the MastCam 34 version.

  39. Green?

Green? by impreprex from the GigaPan Sols 110 and 111 - as seen from the Curiosity Rover - *READ DESCRIPTION* by impreprex

Does anyone else see green on this rock? Not saying it's anything crazy. I'm just making an observation. And don't pay attention to the thumbnail directly to the left because it's completely inaccurate and way out of resolution.
And still, the green that I see is at the limits of the resolution, but you can still see it and I don't think it's a JPG artifact, but of course I could be wrong. :) Anyone else have any ideas besides saying it's grass or something. Moss would be cool, but it's still impossible. Or is it?

I just think it's cool. You can see the incline. I would guess the angle would be 25 - 40 degrees (stab in the dark guess).
