    This rock is dominated by a pervasive slaty cleavage, and this cleavage provides the prominent planes (cross-cutting bedding) that are the main focus of the image.

    One of the characteristics of glaciogenic sediments is a mix of angular and rounded clasts. This one appears particularly acute. Does that speak to a glaciogenic origin?
