This point provides one of the most spectacular views of North-West Scotland. From Arkle and Foinavon, and almost, but not quite Cape Wrath, in the north down to the Isle of Skye. Almost all of the main mountains in the north-west can be seen.
In the opposite direction, on a clear day, you can see the Isle of Lewis.
A bright day and good binoculars would make this an ideal place for whale spotting.2 comments

Built between 1090 and 1100 AD St Andrews of Suntinstoch was given as part of a gift to the Benedictine Abbey of St Marie de Lonlay by William de Falaise. Monks from the mother house were sent over to administer the estate and formed the Benedictine Priory in Stoche (Doomsday Book entry name).
