    Spherical Panorama - Oct 8th 2011: Cluj Arena Grand Opening, Day 1

    The first day of concerts organized as part of the official opening of Cluj Arena filled the stadium! See the spherical panorama shot during the first concert of the day.

    TransilvanArt, in collaboration with the County Council of Cluj and ACI Cluj, built the first virtual tour inside the future Cluj Arena Stadium.

Since 2006, it serves as the Cathedral of the Archbishop of Vad, Feleac and Cluj.

    The church is built on a reinforced concrete skeleton, in which bricks were inserted. The exterior is covered with stone from the Baciu quarry.

The edifice was raised in the Central Square of Cluj and is among the most emblematic monuments of the city.

    The tower, 76 meters tall (80 meters cross on the top included), is the tallest tower in Transylvania. Inside the gothic walls of the church, Transylvanian prices Gábor Bethlen, Zsigmond Rákoczi, Zsigmond Báthory and Gábor Báthory, had their investment ceremonies.

    On the walls of the church hangs the largest collection of emblems and coats of arms of noble Transylvanian families, in Romania. Some of the nobles, such as Princes Apafi I and II, are buried here.

    The church is also known as the Central Reformed Church, or the Reformed Church on the Wolves' Lane.

    The park covers approximately 13 ha. on the banks of the Somesul Mic River.

    Home of chestnut trees more than 100 years old, of the old Casino building and of the lake, the Central Park is a real green oasis for the inhabitants yearning for a bit of relaxation in the middle of the overcrowded city.

    Inside the church there are seven baroque and empire style graves, in which Armenian families, who contributed financially to the building of the church, are buried.

    It is one of the most important Cluj symbols, prototype for many other churches of Transylvania. Inside the altar there is a painted icon (made of wook and covered in metal) of Virgin Mary.

    The building was constructed in the secession style, and was inaugurated in 1910.
