Fish passage by Schrijvertje from the GigaPan Stuw Hagestein by Schrijvertje
The fish passage was built in 2004. It is the first barrier to the fish, from the sea to the river to spawn acceleration, encounter. The passage consists of a lock, which regulates the amount of water with the water on the steps of the fish passage and flows back there a big U-ditch stages of just over 10 inches in height. Right next to the lock water flows behind the arches into the river. The fish jump from stair to stair.

Arches by Schrijvertje from the GigaPan Stuw Hagestein by Schrijvertje
arches that hold the water in the weir. In the middle of the pillar is a hydroelectric dam built, which can supply power to the grid. The plant makes use of the difference in the water level, such as that above and below the weir exists. Usually varies with the flow of the river, but fluctuates at around the meter. The plant with a capacity of 1.8 MW annually produces 5 GWh.

What kind of building style is this? by Schrijvertje from the GigaPan Skipiste @ st Jakob im Haus (Tirol, Austria) by Schrijvertje
We found this a particular nice style of building: a steep roof made all of bricks and no wood at all. Is this more familiar in the Austrian cities?
