Amazing freestanding rock formation on North Peak. Narrower at the base than the top, and the "small" boulder at the top does make it look a bit like a human form. Don't let the scale fool you, tthe prophet is BIG; some of the little plants nearby are trees.

Townsville faced a moderately serious threat of invasion, and numerous old gun emplacememts are scattered around. In 2007, donated by the federal government to the city, after a long fight against the government, who initially wanted to sell it to developers.
