under the suicide bridge by jeffrey martin from the GigaPan Kongresove Roof by jeffrey martin
I used to live in this neighborhood actually. Besides being very sunny, it was a bit dusty from the cars overhead (and besides being in one of the lower points in prague).
I never did see anyone jump, although people do.

Steam rising from the Intercontinental by jeffrey martin from the GigaPan Prague Skyline 1 - January 2006 by jeffrey martin
The hotel intercontinental - one of the most obscene examples of "high commie" architecture - whatever building was torn down to build this monstrosity was surely a bit nicer than this boxy thing.
The steam coming out of this hotel is always remarkable in that it is always emitting more fumes than its neighbors. I guess they have a lot of laundry to do.

Jeffrey by jeffrey martin from the GigaPan Prague Skyline 1 - January 2006 by jeffrey martin
Wet green roofs. It was raining when I was photographing - over an hour in the cold january rain. Luckily I had a thermos full of "grog" - hot tea, lemon juice, and cheap czech rum called "tuzemak".
