    The crop in the near field is Oilseed Rape. As the name suggests his crop is grown for it's oil which is extracted fro mthe crushed seed. It is a common crop in this area of Lincolnshire and alas is the bane of many a person who siffers polen alergies!!

    To the south of the village is Legbourne Wood, a small area of managed woodland currently under the care of the Lincilnshire Wildlife Trust. The wood is home to many birde species, as well as small deer populations.
