The California Coast is spectacular along much of it's 1,000 miles. US Highway 1 runs along the coast and provides superb views. This spot is about 4 miles north of Jenner, California on Highway 1. On this particular day, it was possible to see aboutt 30 miles.

The town of Jenner, California, is located at the mouth of the Russian River, onthe scenic Somoma Coast, about 75 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. The town is located on a hillside, and is mostly foggy. This February, there were many days of bright sunshine.
