That's me by Craig Miller from the GigaPan Rio Aros Willow Gigaplot Sep 09 - Northern Jaguar Reserve by Craig Miller
While waiting for the gigapan to complete its series of photos I decided to cool-off in the Rio Aros and became fascinated by two pairs of damsel flys mating on one of the willow branches. Next time you'll be able to see the damsel flys, thanks to a new 10x lens and increased megapixels.

This Panorama is Full of Scat! by Craig Miller from the GigaPan White Mountain Apache Wolf Kill by Craig Miller
More evidence that wolves hung-out here for quite some time. It's really a beautiful part of the world, if you would like to hang-out here with the wolves on the White Mountain Apache reservation let me know, the Tribe is beginning 5-day backcountry wolf-themed tours this year. It's a really unique opportunity. cmiller@defenders.org

Willow by Craig Miller from the GigaPan Rio Aros Willow Gigaplot Sep 09 - Northern Jaguar Reserve by Craig Miller
The next willow is a 1/2 mile downstream. The consistent livesock grazing of this river-side area preventing willow recruitment. With livestock removed from the Reserve, we should see a return of willows and other native vegegation. We will document this recovery over time using the gigapan.

Terracing and Erosion From Centuries of Cattle Grazing by Craig Miller from the GigaPan Dubural Hills Gigaplot Sep 09 - Northern Jaguar Reserve by Craig Miller
Ground cover is increasing in one of the most severly terraced areas, however there are at least two non-native grasses present which are a management concern -- buffel grass and natal grass.
