    I found this interesting to find that these 2 layers of the Forth Hays Formation left standing one on atop the other, and disconected from the rest of the outcrop. This is a nice look at erosion at it's finest.

    Here is a good look at what the effects of weather can have on an outcrop. The weathering down and erosion of the older chalk bed has been crushed by the overlying chalk bed. So I ask the question, "Mass wasting or Brittal Failure?" You decide.
