Clock almost readable by Carl Berger from the GigaPan SunRiver, St. George UT (before gigapan) by Carl Berger
Trying to get a higher resolution. Using the stitcher setting on the G9 the ISO sets to 200 and you can't change it. So when Gigapan arrives I'll be able to set to a lower ISO and perhaps get ISO80 then we may be able read the clock face.

The Bay Bridge by Carl Berger from the GigaPan San Francisco Skyline January at Dusk by Carl Berger
You can just make out that this is a two deck bridge. When they reconstructed the bridge for more distance between the two decks they had to reconstruct one of the decks. Closing one section at a time, with ramps on edge of the construction, cars had to slow down to go up or down on the road level. One newspaper hung out for days before catching a shot of a driver hitting the ramp at over 60 mph and becoming airborn.

Grounds Keeper by Carl Berger from the GigaPan SunRiver St. George UT (with gigapan) by Carl Berger
Much better resolution than the previous hand held version. Probably due to ISO80 rather than 200.

Semi struggles up the hill by Carl Berger from the GigaPan San Rafael Swell in infrared by Carl Berger
Each shot was taken at 1/8 second at f2.0. So this blur is a Semi going up the hill into the notch of the swell.
(An R72 filter was used to take the infrared shots. The G1 did not have an infrared blocking filter that appeared on later models.)0 comments
