    This was constructed to be a mate to the bridge on the west coast that is known as "Galloping Gertie".
    In the 12 years I have been coming to this part of Maine, there has always been some work going on.

    Do they still call it The English Tower after the latest episodes at The Malvinas. This building was erected to celebrate 100 years of Bristish/Argentine relations
    ( meaning they built the water system and the Subte, and probably the whole train system, among other things) .
