I thought this had to be a local train because of its short length, but in fact it's an InterCity train as you can tell from the locomotive. I guess the train has been shortened by the stitcher because I was shooting in bracketing mode.
This train is traveling into Bath from London's Paddington Station and those that are on this train, at this position, can't see very much of Bath, but once the travels a bit more and then turns west going into the Bath train station, there are a few brief moments that one will easily be awe-struck by the view of the city of Bath, especially if the sun is bright and in the afternoon. The resultant glow of Bath stone is most memorable.
Sit on the right side of the train for the spectacular view.
