Water level in the Bow River is low as can be seen here. It will remain so until the mountian snows to the west start to melt in earnest in a few weeks. I like the vertical link the bridge makes between the very urban buildings/wires/lights high in the panorama and the naturalistic rocks/water/ice below.

The bridge at near right carries Calgary's Light Rail Transit over the Bow River on its top deck. Pedestrians and cyclists use the lower deck. The Tenth Street Bridge is just beyond. It carries automobile and pedestrian traffic on its single deck.
