This shows the full sweep of the main sanctuary. Had a bit of problem with glare from the bright sun streaming through the windows and a few minor stitching errors. Will attempt another shoot. The church will be celebrating it's 100 anniversary in 2012. Casavant organ Home page: www.casavant.ca

This is a project that will eventually, hopefully, link each book to a book review. The concept is that of a zoomable browsing library. It will also be connected eventually to a standard library database, searchable by author, title and subject. For now, enjoy browsing and using some of the snapshots with hyperlinks...

Currently celebrating it's 130th anniversary, the staff was kind enough to allow me to do this trial shot. Obtaining the desired exposure and colour values is rather difficult considering the contrasty lighting of mixed colour, but I shall press on with more shots in the near future. The organ is a magnificent Casava...

The more prominent of the two is the Church of the Holy Trinity (Episcopal Church) while the First Presbyterian Church is in the background to the left. The large building in front of thr Holy Trinity is Bancorp South.

Three Steeples on local churches, somewhat overexposed. The large central one is the Church of the Holy Trinity, to its left is the First Presbyterian, and just to the right of the large squarish building (Bancorp South) you should be able to make out the First Baptist Church Steeple.

Located on 105 Street just south of Jasper Ave. The custodian is taking down the Christmas lights from the trees.

Located on the corner of 102 Ave and 123 Street. It's one of the most popular churches in the city for concerts. Notice all the bird barriers. Ther were lots of songbirds flitting around and chirping as I was capturing this historic church.
