One of the last scenes I shot before my GigaPan Epic broke down. Something happened with the GigaPan software or circuit board inside the unit and it just stopped working, when turned on it says 'please replace battery' even though batteries are fully charged. Has anyone else had this problem? I have only shot 45 ...

You see very few people enjoying the sun and sand in this panorama of Oak Bluff's Town Beach by the ferryboat landing in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. From Seaview Avenue with its pretty multicolored Victorian B&B's to the foamy waves of Nantucket Sound, there was a delightful expanse of open sand and sedges. The comm...

Along the road that takes you to Red Rock Crossing in front of Cathedral Rock are two viewpoints that provide a great perspective on the red rocks south of the center of Sedona. Here the soil is the same color as the deepest rust color of the rock formations.

Well hidden behind cottonwood trees lies Oak Creek as it passes by the cedar shingled L'Auberge de Sedona Resort. Eventually, that same water flows into the Verde River and then the Salt River, passing right through Phoenix before it connects into the Gila River that goes all the way to Yuma and the Colorado River. Off...

I did this with my 90mm Tamron macro. Only 16 pictures and it was only two feet away. I think the resolution is better. But because I am close, I am getting a curve in the gigapan. I think to do these you need a rail that provides a third motion to slide the camera along the plane of the subject.

Another attempt at lichens on bark. I was using my T2i with 70-300mm at 300mm, f16, auto focus, no IS. 45 jpg pictures on Standard scene. Early morning in direct sun. I am still not satisfied with the extreme detail. Might be at the camera/lens resolution. Will try again with my macro.
