A 4x17 panorama looking west from the Capital Hill area of Seattle. Actual resolution is 26769 x 5074 pixels, or 135.8 MP in a 275 MB TIFF file. This image would print at 75" x 14" @ 360 dpi. Sigma SD14, Pentax SMC Takumar 135/2.5 (M42), ISO 100, 1/640 @ f/8, using the Gigapan robotic pano head and stitch...

A six-image panorama of Seattle taken from West Seattle using my Pentax K20D and Sigma 100-300/4 lens @ 118mm. I used my Bogen 3421 gymbal head. This image would make a very impressive 72" x 12" print @ 360 dpi... or it could be printed at 240 dpi to give a 9' x 1.5' print, but where would it fit?

A 4x11 multi-row panorama, taken using the Sigma SD14 and Sigma 70-200/2.8 EX, stitched with Gigapan Stitcher and final post-processing with Adobe Elements. This is a higher-resolution version of my previous image, taken at the same time but with 50% more focal length, and the greatly increased detail is apparent.

Looking northwards from the Beacon Hill/Georgetown area of Seattle. This image is a 2x7 multi-row panorama taken using my Sigma SD14 camera and Sigma 70-200/2.8 EX lens mounted on the Gigapan robotic pano head. I had to reverse the tripod collar so the camera/lens would be positioned back far enough to let the camera b...

A 19-shot (9x2 + 1 extra) multi-row panorama, taken with a Bogen 3421 gymbal head and my Sigma SD14 with Sigma 70-200/2.8 EX lens. ISO 100, 159mm, 1/250 @ f/4.5. Still learning the tricks and techniques to get good multi-row panos. I need to let the camera/tripod settle down a bit longer, as there is very slight mot...

Taken facing east, from across the valley, with my Sigma SD10, Pentax SMC Takumar 135/2.5 (perhaps the sharpest lens EVER in this focal length). This was taken using a standard tripod head and manually moving the camera between shots. Two rows of 9 images... I up-rezzed it to make the 50MP minimun, and you will see a t...
