Interstate 70 runs through beautiful Glenwood Canyon. The scenic beauty of this area was preserved, even if it meant inconvenient access to this rest stop. Most people parked here were likely hiking to the nearby Hanging Lake. This may well qualify as the most beautiful rest stop on the Interstate Highway System.
