The clear waters of the Chehalis, one of the cleanest rivers in BC, is noted for it's run of steelhead trout in the winter and early spring. Magnificent old growth forest of cedar, fir and hemlock surround the area. Neaby is Harrison Hot Springs in the upper Fraser Valley.

The foggy coastline of Vancouver Island near Uclulet, BC. The harsh growing conditions make for some bizarre gargoyle-shaped trees. The undergrowth is mostly salal which supplies lots of berries for the bears nearby. Trees include cedar, Sitka Spruce, hemlock, pine and fir.
