I was inspired by the amazing work I've seen this week at 365Project.org to do another panoramic photo. I noticed how still Victoria's inner harbour was last night, so I quickly setup on my deck and took a sequence of 3 long exposure shots to make this panorama. The 3 exposures were taken left to right for 15, 30, a...

I set out to do some long exposure night photography, and came across this vista. This is my first attempt at shooting the Oak Bay Marina in Victoria, and it's a multi-image panorama at that, so I expect to go back and take a second crack at this. This is a 7 image, single row panorama shot with my Nikon D600, Nikkor...

Selkirk Common Riding is a festival which commemorates the return to the town from the Battle of Flodden in 1513, of Fletcher. Clifton Bridge spans the river Avon and connects the City of Bristol to Leigh Woods in Somerset. It was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and completed after his death in 1864. He won a competition to design a bridge here, but because the powers that be didn't believe that such a span could be built, he had to build ...

This old cabin sits by the road into Wells Gray Park about 20 km north of Clearwater, BC. Autumn colors were at their optimum. I'm also trying to find some history about this cabin as it was built by one of the early pioneers in this area. Using a relatively long focal length I locked the focus on the corner of ...
