Shot on 70 mm negative film as the Last Space Shuttle Atlantis clears the Pad 39A tower for the last time. The huge media crowd and international visitors to the Kennedy Space Center surround the camera, as well as the iconic VAB.

This is a funky little section of Atlanta with great shops, theaters, galleries, and eateries all on the eclectic side. This view is mostly west down Euclid Ave. This one obviously caught more people and vehicles moving about during the exposures.

Beautifully lit at night, the shuttle is dazzling in the darkness of Kennedy Space Center. Some unfortunate movement of the GigaPan robot during the 0.5 second exposure ruined the otherwise glorious shot.

Here we see the shuttle Atlantis on pad 39-A one day before the launch of the Hubble Servicing Mission 4. It's just before sunset and we see the shuttle just free of the protective "Rotating Service Structure (RSS)" which has just been pivoted off to the left. The large water tank to the right of the launch pad is part...

Here we see the Space Shuttle Atlantis on pad 39-A one day before the launch of the Hubble Servicing Mission 4. It's just after sunset and we see the shuttle in the glow of twilight. The large water tank to the right of the launch pad is part of the sound suppression water system. For more info on Launch Complex 39, se...

Taken from the dock, the cruise terminals are behind us. Atlantis resort is on the left, located on Paradise island. I like the dichotomy between the resort on the left and the shipwreck being dismantled in the water on the right. Heavy vignetting from the camera in this pano. Odd, none of the other ones had that prob...

Taken from the aft deck of our cruise ship "Majesty of the Seas" while it was still docked in Nassau, Bahamas. Just like in the picture taken from the dock below, you notice some heavy banding due to the inconsistent lighting conditions.
