  1. This is in the southeastern quadrant of the San Rafael Swell. I've previously GigaPanned the eastern margin of the swell, north of here where I-70 pierces it (www.gigapan.org/gigapans/32536/).

  2. An isolated hill capped by Ogallala Formation conglomerates rises above a quarry in the Smoky Hill Chalk.
