The Fort Peck Spillway on the dam was opened for only the second time since 1997 and I was lucky enough to be there to get this GigaPan of it. I don't know why, but it stitched together slightly off at the bottom of the GigaPan, and I tried stitching it twice.

From Wikipedia (Since I couldn't put it more concisely): Big Four Mountain is a mountain in the Cascade Range of Washington, located 33.4 kilometres (20.8 mi) east of Granite Falls. The mountain is about 6,135 ft (1,870 m) high and on its north flank, debris piles form from avalanches and are able to remain there year...

- View of the Columbia River from I-90 Opposite the Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park by Richard Calhoun
-
This was taken September 5th from the scenic lookout off I-90 near George, WA. The banding is from the clouds moving across the sun while the GigaPan was doing its thing. The wind was 15MPH gusting to 30MPH for the last half of the panorama, and I had to stand and hold the camera and tripod because the wind blew it o...

Spencer Island is one of the best places in the Snohomish River Estuary to view waterfowl and shorebirds. Deer, coyote, river otter, and a host of small mammals and amphibians also inhabit the large island. The island has a dike top trail system, which provides scenic views of the wetlands, sloughs and mountains. Th...

This is a nice view from the mouth of the ice caves just about an hour East of Granite Falls, WA. The sun was in the wrong position to get the panorama of the ice caves themselves, and I was with a large party and did not have time to get the pic, so I guess another trip is in order to get that one. Well, it only ...

This is the view out the window of the Alaska Airlines lounge at SFO. I took this while waiting ten and a half hours to catch a plane home to Seattle. I was one of the lucky ones in that I didn't spend 24-36 hours waiting to get home like some unlucky people.

This is the third of three GigaPans I took on the 21st of December 2008 of the Twelve Apostles. The second picture was taken nearly 180 degrees around from this one. Since I couldn't put it any more concisely, here is a description from www.visitvictoria.com

This is the second of three GigaPans I took on the 21st of December 2008 of the Twelve Apostles. The first picture was taken just out of view in the right center of the picture where the elevated walkway goes out of sight. Since I couldn't put it any more concisely, here is a description from www.visitvictoria.com

I have had the fortune to go to the Twelve Apostles twice now and both times it has been hazy. No big deal, just wish I could have taken a GigaPan on a nice clear day. In this GigaPan, the different colors of the cliff on the right are from where the sun did come out of the clouds for a while and then went back behin...
