Early morning sun breaks through as the dramatic black storm clouds hang in the west. This is one of the more than 25 GigaPans I recorded on a weekend trip to Southern Alberta. I put on more than 1960 km on the 3 day trip on the Canada Day weekend. Milk River is close to the Canada-US border at Coutts & Sweetgrass.

This is in Winder, GA. I've been having trouble with getting the FOV setting right for images of distant scenery (no problem with close up gigapans), which is why the colors don't look quite right in this one (I think).

Restitched from the full file using the newest GigaPan stitching software. The log barn was used as a shelter for goats by early Norwegian settlers in the area.

This is where my father worked - well part of it. There are other workshops in the back. There were few things that he felt weren't worth saving - and few things that he couldn't find some way to fix, salvage or recycle. Much of the wood on the racks was cut on premise, sawed into planks, dried and still awaits some pr...

A healthy crop of canola lies in the swath awaiting some late summer sun to mature and dry it so that it can be combined. The tiny black seeds in the pods are crushed to make canola oil for the food industry. This crop is along Meadowview Drive just west of St. Albert, Alberta near Big Lake.
