From a stop along the "nature trail" around Bear Lake (RMNP) -- the pan 'Bear Lake 2' (gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=5806) is taken from this same location. I believe the funny crack upt he middle of the tree is caused by frost splitting the tree.
