Rumelifeneri lies on the north end of Bosporus at the west entrance. The harbour also called Büyük Limani (büyük = largely) is really big, but fully proves by fish trawlers. Yachts can find only difficultly a place here in summer during the catch prohibition-months July and August.

İstinye is a neighbourhood in Istanbul, on the European side. It is located between Emirgan and Yeniköy on the northwestern shore of the Bosporus, within the borough of Sarıyer. İstinye is famous for its cafés and seafood restaurants.
