  8. 18-Jul-09 Near the Tablelands of Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. Low tide on the beach allowed some of the group to go looking for the sea caves - a walk that became much longer than they'd anticipated! Thankfully, everyone returned safely, though much more drenched and tired than before.

Limestone area that is much more productive than many of the other areas that we've been - some neat stuff. Including perhaps the first Lasius species...
