View from the Visitor Center. The large mountain with the red face is called the West Temple. The one in the center is called the Sundial, and the on to the right of that with the small red stain at the top is called the Altar of Sacrifice.

I believe this is the view opposite of the Court of the Patriarchs, in Zion NP.

Note the framework at the top of the mountain. This was used to support cables that were used to lower rough cut timber, supplies, and occasionally people from the top of the mountain to the valley floor. Also viewable are people on the trail that leads up to Observation Point.

Looking out from the Lodge, the Park gives you a feeling of being on the canyon floor. (This version is built with the new gigapan stitcher and does not show the problems from the previous version. Thanks to Ron Schott)

This is unusual. Looks like vertical overlap was fine but horizontal failed in overlap. I'll need to read the manual a lot closer to figure out what happened. If any of you know please add to the discussion. (Thanks Ron, the upgrade to the new software did the job.)

Morning shot of the Virgin River in Zion National Park. Fall is just starting to make itself known in the lower end of the canyon. First landscape with the Canon SD890. Impressed with the ability to control exposure and focus easily.
