  1. Along Highway 12 - it was hard not to stop here with the sun hitting the outcrop at a nice angle. I may be wrong about this, but I think these outcrops are part of the Cretaceous Straight Cliffs formation (sandstones and shales), which has occasional organic rich layers - including coal.
