This was taken just off the hiking trail from El Chalten to Lago Capri. The ridge on the far side of the valley is called Cordon de los Condores. Battery problems with the camera led to some some skipped photos in the middle of the image. I repeated the panorama and was able to cover the previously skipped area....

Perito Moreno glacier is quite active, as one can tell from the icebergs visible in Lago Argentino. Sometimes this glacier actually separates the two arms of the lake. For reference, the face of the glacier is 100 ft high.
