Stillwater is a historic river town on the border with Wisconsin. It's preserved its 19th-century character and is a popular destination for sightseeing and shopping. Lumberjack Days is Stillwater's annual summer celebration. It boasts a parade, races, lots of food, a concert and even more tourists than usual.

This 1905 building is modeled after Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. As you can see it is now undergoing renovation. It was the site for negotiations to end the 20-day government shutdown which recently ended.
