One of the few fully operational wooden elevators in Alberta. Barrhead is a major centre for the production of canola, wheat, barley and oats. Most of the old wooden elevators are gone having been replaced by ones of concrete and steel. A 180 degree panorama composed of 120 shots.

View of the Junior Officer Lounge and new elevator. The elevator was installed in the middle of the building and required excavations down 27 feet from the floor level of the lounge. The elevator allowed access to 5 floor levels and all design elements were designed to meet AODA requirements.
