A virtual copy of another of my images. I was attempting to do something towards high dynamic range (hdr) imagery. The other image has a grey dreary sky, which wasn't literally the case when I took my images...but at a larger level, it _might_ have been the statement I was interested in making. I took the train up from Hursley, than I might have planned, and then wandered about with my heavy back. I took refuge at St. Anne's and took panoramas. This is the same church shown in gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=693, but from the other side of the rear yard. I almost didn't upload this second one, but ...

A single order of Cafe con Leche at the London City cafe, which was founded in the 1950's. This is a very traditional and yummy service including the espresso, hot steamed milk, carafe of water and water cup. The ideal caffeine hit!

- London Shaftesbury, Denman, and Great Windmill streets - two 360 degree panoramas stitched together (b4) by Rich Gibson
-
I liked this corner of Shaftesbury, Denman, and Great Windmill streets. According to my image time stamps I spent about 40 minutes on this street island and several panoramas. This one was too small to upload :-( so I got around that by stitching two 360 degree panoramas together. I think I have three 360's of this ...

A guy walked up and tried to convince me that this was an ugly building. There are prettier ones in London. But this massive brick blob appealed to me.

The second or third thing I notice when I travel to the 'old' world is the intertangling of old and new. The sherbet booth set up between the stones of ancient monuments. The Modern architecture next to the Victorian (and to be honest, the faux/recreated Victorian) architecture. The interplay of flavors, the pastich...
