August 13, 2011, Glacier Mountain National Park, Logan Pass, Hidden Lake Trail. Weather was fantastic. Shot with Epic 100 and Panasonic G3 mirrorless camera with 48-200 Zoom lens. Autum colours at the Chickakoo Lake Recreation area in the Glory Hills near Edmonton. Besides the hiking and horse trails, it has excellent cross-country skiing in the winter along a network of trails that wind through the area. There is an abundance of highbush cranberries in the forest as well.

I was on my way out of the mountains when I saw some elk on the side of the road. I immediately turned around and parked back at the visitors center. Hiked down the trail to see 70 or so Elk grazing on the mountain side.
