  5. Walking back to the parking lot, the view along the hiking trail to Taggart Lake (not visible, but still there). There are a few burned lodge pole pines here - the area was completely burned out many years ago, and only a few of the burned trees remain as reminders.

  6. Another view of the Tetons from a turnout along Highway 89. The Snake River plain sits in the foreground, with the mountains rising at the back. This is a good view of some of the glacial erosion that occurred in the Tetons, and some of the remnants of these glaciers.
