A simply beautiful late-afternoon view looking north-east from Alice Pratt Brown Hall. To the left is Janice and Robert McNair Hall and to the right is James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy Rice University and between the two is Jamail Plaza with its eye-catching fountain. This hand-held panorama was taken...

- Rice Rugby: Emily Watches Angelo State University versus Rice University Owls Rugby Team - a 360-Degree Panorama by David Engle
-
I happened on this match while out taking a few panoramas of Rice University. The location is the Rugby Field and the two teams were somewhere in the second period. I am not aware of what the score ended up being; however, I do know that great fun was had by all. This hand-held panorama was taken using a Canon SX ...

There is an oral history project associated with this World War II Memorial: wwii.rice.edu/foreward.htm

I am at a loss for words other than what I wrote concerning the snapshot, other than it is a beautiful place to stop and meditate and consider freedom and the commitment to prese...-

- Rice University: Alice Pratt Brown Hall, McNair Hall and Baker Hall From Lee and Joe Jamail Plaza - a 360 Panorama by David Engle
-
The fall semester is now going into its third week of the school year and on this Labor Day morning, 2009, the fountain in Jamail Plaza is glowing with sunlight. We have taken GigaPans in this area before, but the fountain view screamed for yet another panorama of this beautiful plaza. Baker Hall is the hom...

This was a busy day for me. I met my friend to help her with her new camera, www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=32036 and afterwards went into the Museum to let someone know of the panorama I took of a child and her mother, www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=31803 and while I was there I found an...

This was a GigaPan test, which quickly ended due to inclement weather. One day I will take a 15.0 gigapixel GigaPan of Lovett Hall, and that day may be soon if the Stitcher becomes upgraded so that I can accomplish my wish.

Amazing that this stitched at all due to the mis-alignment of the photo files, but it did, which I believe could not have been stitched except by the GigaPan Stitcher. Hand-held using the Canon SX110.

To keep up with the Rice Owls go to: riceowls.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/rice-m-footbl-body.html#00
Just before I took this panorama, I met Rice football coach David Bailiff, who was very kind and gracious to me. I told him that I was going to take a GigaPan panorama and he said for me to come and meet him l...-

The location from where this panorama was taken can be seen from a previous GigaPan: gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=27578&snapshot_id=91286. The climb to the top was strenuous to say the least, but the intense heat had not arrived, so I survived. The view is indeed stunning and I would love to return with ...
