After a 5 mile walk up a 4wd road to the trailhead, then hiking up a stream for a mile, we reached the blue hole.

Nothing quite like a chair lift to get one to a good vantage point! And I got done shooting this one just in time, too - an approaching thunderstorm threatened to shut down the lift within a half an hour of the time I got off the mountain.

This view is North of but close to the Jackson Hole airport. An airplane would come in close to the top of the Grand Teton, but I never did have the camera in the right positing when this happened. Shot with Nikon D5000 and 300mm lens
