The Johnson River is located in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, on the west side of Cook Inlet. Like many rivers and streams in the park, the Johnson River supports resident and anadromous fish populations such as silver (coho) salmon and Dolly Varden. Slope Mountain is 3510ft (1070m).
