The Queens Garden trail connects to another short trail (Navajo Loop), which provides a nice hike and great views of the canyon from a somewhat... lower viewpoint. These hoodoos are part of the area called "Wall Street".

One of the popular hiking trails in Bryce Canyon is a relatively short hike to Queen's Garden - while this pan was not taken at the final destination, it's taken closer to the end than the beginning... a good way to view the scenery of Bryce from the "bottom" rather than the top

Almost to the south end of the Bryce Canyon Ampitheater (part of the northern part of the park itself), with another view of orange hoodoo formations.

I believe this is the southernmost view in the "Bryce Canyon Ampitheater", which is the part of the park accessible by shuttlebus and open year round. The park does continue to the south, and the views are also lovely - but closed seasonally.

At this point (between Escalante and Boulder), Rte. 12 in southern Utah crosses along the top of a ridge with drop-offs to both side, exposing expanses of Navajo sandstone occasionally cut by canyons.

Or almost - just past the campground is the entrance to the scenic drive through the park. We didn't have enough time to drive it, but we did have a few minutes to stop and take a pan (the stop sign at the right edge of the pan marks the start of that drive). Capitol Reef was named for the sandstone ridge that bloc...
