A scupture by local sculptor Pete Felten, 1977. I had to touch this one up a bit in Photosop, because the initial stitch left the male student with an early hominid-like squashed head.

Just a ordinary local park I encountered in Saitama, a prefecture next to Tokyo. I was astounded to see the unique combination of the sculpture, a public restroom and a play ground behind it which is actually a kind of reservoir when it rains heavily.

This hillside of trimmed-bush sculpture, or topiary, is located at Union and Vine in San Diego, California. Not far from Old Town. There are hundreds of figures depicted, from a surfer to all kinds of animals. It's called Harper's Topiary Hill. More photos: coolweird.blogspot.com/2006/09/cool-topiary-in-san

The Utsubo Park is one of the largest parks in the Osaka city. During the WW II, there was an airstrip for combat planes here.

The Angel of the North by Antony Gormley, is located beside the A1 Great North Road as it enters Tyneside. Now celebrating its 10th birthday, it is seen by some 90,000 drivers a day! By the way - the wings are in fact straight, and this image may be best seen in Google Earth!

This mirrored room in the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh houses three mannequins. The gigapan was taken with noone in the room, which is interesting.
