  1. Shot at sunset from the roof of Griffith Observatory, overlooking Los Angeles. It was a clear day, but as soon as the sun went down, the marine layer rushed in, ruining the shot I had imagined. We'll try this one again when it warms up a bit and the sunset can really light up the LA basin.

  2. This is part of the gardens at the J Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. It was a beautiful windy day, although on the chilly side for LA.

  3. This is the view from the Getty Museum in the Santa Monica Mountains, overlooking the west side of Los Angeles. It was a mostly clear, windy day, but the clouds to the east (rain?) limited visibility a bit. The furthest point along the coastline is Redondo Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes -- almost to Long Beach.
