Upon returning to the grove on Thanksgiving weekend I set up the camera under very cloudy weather...perfect for shooting this kind of subject matter. Historic Stovepipe Wells is just this side of the sand dunes in the middle ground of this GigaPan. Modern Stovepipe Wells Village is just the other side of those dunes. Tucki Mountain on the left and the Cottonwood Mountains on the right are all part of the larger Panamint Range. This is an early morning view.
