  1. This is a shot of a working cattle ranch in Florida. The ranch covers about 1500 acres and originally had an additional 7000 acres. Hard to get a better shot of the cattle - as I moved toward them they moved away. They must have thought I was looking for a nice steak for dinner.

  2. The Cypress Hills were the only area in Alberta not covered by glaciers during the last Ice Age. There is a wide variety of flora and fuana found nowhere else.

  5. The Marlboro Crazy Mountain Ranch is located outside the quaint village of Clyde Park Montana.The Marlboro Ranch is extremely private property. You may only visit the Marlboro Ranch if you are invited.

  6. This happy, contented herd of cattle were, for the most part anxious to have their GigaPan portrait done by yours truly. Like people, some of them just couldn't stay put! The herd had their afternoon cud chew near Dapp, Alberta about an hour's drive north of Edmonton.

  9. Dead Horse Ranch State Park is near Cottonwood, Arizona. Taken on the Verde River, under the North 10th Street bridge. Various traps and free hand collecting methods were undertaken, including UV sheets at night. Aquatic sampling was very fruitful. Gigapan taken by Grace Bannon.
