With the Pine Valley Mountain (The only mountain named after the valley!) in the back ground, SunRiver St George has grown in 15 years to be one of the most active 'over 50' communities in the United States. 87 hand held images taken with Olympus E-M5 1970's Komura 105mm f/2.0 Leica mount ISO 200 f/8 1/640 Sti...

Presentation at the New Media Consortium conference in Monterey California. While the images look good in the loading and aligning screens of the stitcher program, the end result is very mixed up! The podium and presenter should be on the left and a full screen shown next.

Taken about 10 minutes after the Durango-Silverton steam train pulls in. In the lower right you can see the "Sweeper Car" just coming in having collected cinders and put out fires tossed by the firebosx. (Fuji IS-1 300mm [barely fits the gigapan] stitched with Calico on the Mac) Vertical bands of differin...

This is unusual. Looks like vertical overlap was fine but horizontal failed in overlap. I'll need to read the manual a lot closer to figure out what happened. If any of you know please add to the discussion. (Thanks Ron, the upgrade to the new software did the job.)

Morning shot of the Virgin River in Zion National Park. Fall is just starting to make itself known in the lower end of the canyon. First landscape with the Canon SD890. Impressed with the ability to control exposure and focus easily.

Just at dawn, the community starts to come alive. Golfers are on the course (on the right) and the lights over the Port of Entry into Utah are still on. Most is quiet however as this is a retirement community. But it is an active community so you can see the tennis and pickleball courts and the restaurant and community...

Music Box Theater's presentation of "Triple Espresso" in Minneapolis, MN. Pictures not allowed during the show so this shows the audience filing in. 20 photos, 2 rows, 10 each. Canon SD890 sitiched with Calico. Very slow shutter speed. One large error, as this was hand held, I didn't rotate it around the lens...
