Here's Government Plaza in Minneapolis on a balmy April First. That's Hennepin County Government Center on the left and Minneapolis City Hall on the right. By merest coincidence, this panorama captured a number of gigapanographers, some more than once. Can you find the following people? Bill Alberts (logdoggy) http...

Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis from the atrium of Target Corporation's home office and flagship store. A warm afternoon brought out plenty of Sunday shoppers.

Which kind of camera makes a better panorama: a full-frame DSLR or a point-and-shoot? This is a test that pits my Canon G10 (with a 1.54X tele attachment) against my Nikon D3 with 80-210mm Nikkor zoom. Here you see the point-and-shoot Canon in the GigaPan Epic mount.

This is a true HDR panorama made from a five-image bracket (-2 to 2EV) of each image. The image sets were batch processed in Photomatix and then sharpened in Photoshop before stitching. The panorama shows moderate flooding of Harriet Island in the foreground. See gigapan.org/gigapans/45623/ for another view fro...

The view from the roof terrace of Megan's condo. It's missing quite a bit on the right side. I paused the GigaPan while a cloud cleared out and it shut itself off. Even though it allowed me to resume the pano when I started it again, the new photos did not align with the rest of the pano. I'll try again another time. C...
